Fire is the Test of Gold by Elizabeth Randall Florida Author

Tell me about your latest book: Fire is the Test of Gold. It is a psychological mystery thriller about two men with wildly different goals who take a small boat out to sea and run into a squall. What happens to them isn't solved until the end of the book. Meanwhile, the people they left behind have major complications.

What was the inspiration for this book? The thin line between reality and superstition and, since I live in Florida, the number of people who go out to sea and never return. I decided to write about what could have happened to them.
